Brand Manager
Summary
The Brand Manager is responsible for executing the marketing functions of their respective brands, ensuring the development of brand building activities for the product or products being managed island wide.

Responsibilities
- • Develop and implement appropriate strategies by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
- • Lead creative development and stimulus for products in order to accomplish sales targets and ensure consistency with product line strategy.
- • Monitor product distribution and consumer reaction.
- • Measure the success of marketing campaigns and report the performance of all marketing campaigns against set goals.
- • Monitor market trends; provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
- • Ensure island wide product visibility.
- • Communicate with Principals and submit monthly report on product movements.
- • Participate in trade fairs, conferences and symposiums whenever necessary.
- • Coach and motivate sales personnel to achieve objectives.
- • Aid Marketing Manager in developing and implementing appropriate strategies to grow by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
- • Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in formulating commercial plans for products being managed
- • Provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
- • Conduct comparative competitor study and recommend changes to ensure that products remain competitive.
- • Undertake marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
- • Conduct research, analyze data and provide information to management for decision- making.
- • Prepare presentations for customers and sales team on products being branded.
- • Ensure product visibility in designated locations and communicate product information to the relevant personnel.
- • Supervise promoters promoting products during in-store promotions.
Required Skills
- • Strong understanding of brands and the marketing mix.
- • Proficient in budget management.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Effective team player with strong relationship-building abilities.
- • Results-driven, with strong leadership and analytical skills.
- • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.
- • Proficient in spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, and database applications.
- • Creative problem-solver with an enterprising attitude and ‘can-do’ mindset.
- • Solid knowledge of selling and sales techniques.
- • Able to maintain commitments and build trust with partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree in Marketing; an MBA would be an asset.
- • At least 4 years of progressive marketing experience in an FMCG environment.
- • Experience with the full marketing mix is essential.
- • Familiarity with tracking tools used to assess campaign performance.
- • Project management certification and/or experience is an asset.
