Caretaker (LMO/TS3) - Multiple Parishes

Summary

Applicants are invited to fill the post of Caretaker within the parishes of St. Mary, Manchester, Hanover, and Clarendon. The Incumbent is responsible for the general care and protection of buildings, vehicles, equipment, livestock, etc., on the Agency's premises. (Four Vacancies)

Responsibilities

• • Carries out routine patrols of the property to ensure that property is secure.
• • Carries out minor repairs, fencing, irrigation, and routine farm and general maintenance work as necessary.
• • Participates in the taking of inventories.
• • Maintains the grounds in a clean and tidy condition; establishes and maintains gardens and lawns.
• • Complies with established security systems at all times.
• • Reports damages to buildings, vehicles, equipment, etc., and safety violations to the Property Manager/Centre Manager with immediate effect.

Qualifications

• • Completed Secondary School education.
• • Training in Agriculture or NCIVET Certificate in Horticulture and landscaping would be an asset.
• • One (1) year experience in a similar position.

Additional Information and Instructions

• Special Conditions Associated with the Job:

  • • On call 24 hours daily.
  • • Must reside on the property.
