Surgical Medical Representative
Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Surgical Medical Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our surgical products to healthcare professionals, including surgeons, medical staff, and hospitals. This role requires a deep understanding of the surgical field, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- • Promote and sell a range of surgical products to healthcare professionals, including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as surgeons, procurement managers, and hospital administrators.
- • Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to healthcare professionals on the proper use, benefits, and features of surgical products.
- • Attend and support surgeries when required, offering product assistance and ensuring proper application in real-time.
- • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and product potential.
- • Manage territory sales, achieve sales targets, and develop long-term business relationships with healthcare providers.
- • Work closely with the marketing and clinical teams to ensure accurate product messaging, promotional materials, and training resources.
- • Stay updated on industry regulations, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
- • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and product feedback.
- • Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and exhibitions to increase product awareness and network with healthcare professionals.
- • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements in all activities.
Required Skills
- • Previous experience working in surgical specialties such as orthopedics, cardiology, or general surgery.
- • Understanding of hospital purchasing systems and decision-making processes.
- • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and medical device approval processes.
- • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Nursing, or a related field. (Preferred)
- • Proven experience in surgical sales or medical device sales, with a strong understanding of the surgical market.
- • In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage healthcare professionals effectively.
- • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to sales.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory.
- • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- • A strong ethical mindset and a commitment to upholding global healthcare standards.
