Warehouse Attendant/Sanitation

Summary

Warehouse Attendant reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the fulfilment of the store orders to replenish the sales floor stock. The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for a wide range of tasks including loading and unloading and staging products. The Warehouse Attendants’ responsibilities include transport of merchandise to the store areas, re-stocking, and rotations of products.

Responsibilities

• • Prepares the reserve slots for the arrival of products.
• • Replenishes the picking slots.
• • Scans and tracks the movement of inventory in the Warehouse.
• • Ensures the general cleanliness of the Warehouse.
• • Effectively completes all other activities as delegated by the supervising authorities.

Required Skills

• • Follows quality control standards, safety regulations and standard operational methods.
• • Experience in handling technical parts and equipment.
• • Should be competitive, energetic, possess excellent work ethic, good communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• • Ability to understand and practice principles of good customer service.
• • Results oriented individual with excellent planning and organizing skills.
• • Should be detailed oriented, reliable and able to handle stressful situations.
• • Ability to carry out varied levels of manual handling operations.
• • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Qualifications

• • Flexible and willing to work hours and days based on the demands of the job (e.g. early mornings, evenings and weekend days).
• • Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency/on-call situations to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 50 pounds.
• • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.
• • This role will require bending, stooping, twisting and some overhead lifting of various weights
• • This role requires repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists.
• • Ability to work within Company Policies.
• • Effectively completes all other activities as delegated by the supervising authorities.
• • At least High school graduate and a minimum of 1 year related experience.
