Remote Data Analytics Engineer

Summary

Our client is the leading auto salvage analytics company, dedicated to creating value to auto recycling yard ownership. They are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team to support creating valuable insights that drive decision-making for their customers. Position Overview: The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for supporting their product and customers by maintaining and iterating on their data pipelines and analyzing data to uncover insights, trends, and patterns which can be used to drive business strategies and decisions. This role requires a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, and business acumen. Salary: $4,500 USD/month Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Mountain Time US

Responsibilities

• • Developing the data collection process to source clean analytics-ready data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and reliability.
• • Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business insights.
• • Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to our customers.
• • Work with our team to identify business needs and provide analytic or automation project recommendations.
• • Develop, implement, and maintain data warehouses, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize data processing efficiency and quality.
• • Collaborate with leadership teams and data engineers to implement and optimize data solutions.
• • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency of our services.
• • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve data analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• • 4 years of experience in a data analyst role.
• • Strong proficiency SQL. Python competency is a plus.
• • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar (we use Domo).
• • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
• • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
• • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
