🎓 Scholarship Features
- Value: Up to $400,000 JMD per academic year
- Duration: Renewable annually for up to four years
- Deferral: Not permitted — must be used in the academic year immediately after the award
✅ Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Jamaican citizen residing in Jamaica
- Be currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited Jamaican undergraduate programme in early childhood education
- Demonstrate financial need
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Show engagement in extracurricular or volunteer activities
- Exhibit strong leadership traits
📘 Academic & Service Obligations (If Awarded)
Recipients must:
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete at least 20 hours of voluntary service each academic year
🗂️ Required Supporting Documents
- Proof of acceptance or enrolment in an accredited early childhood education degree programme
- Most recent transcript or progress report
- Evidence of outstanding tuition balances (official documentation from the institution)
- Job letter (if employed)
- One (1) passport-sized photograph
- Certified birth certificate
