The GraceKennedy Foundation is proud to offer eleven (11) scholarship opportunities for outstanding Jamaican students pursuing tertiary education. These awards are open to students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to giving back to their communities.

π Available Scholarships
Below is a summary of the scholarships offered for the 2025 academic year:
1. GraceKennedy/Jamaica Scholarship
- Open to students completing CAPE 2 and entering The University of the West Indies (UWI).
- Note: Students pursuing Medicine or Law are not eligible.
2. GraceKennedy/University of Technology Scholarship
- Available annually to students attending The University of Technology (UTech).
3. GraceKennedy/Carlton Alexander Scholarship
- Open to past students of Jamaica College, tenable at UWI or UTech.
4. GraceKennedy/Rafael Diaz Scholarship for Business
- Open to undergraduates studying Business within the Faculty of Social Sciences at UWI.
5. GraceKennedy/Douglas Orane Scholarship
- For students pursuing Science, Technology, or Engineering at UWI or UTech.
6. GraceKennedy/Don Wehby Scholarship
- For past students of St. Georgeβs College who have demonstrated sports involvement.
- Tenable at UWI or UTech.
7. GraceKennedy/Bruce Rickards Scholarship
- Open to undergraduate students at UWI or UTech.
8. GraceKennedy Scholarship to the Edna Manley College
- Open to 2ndβ4th year students at Edna Manley College of the Visual & Performing Arts, across any of its four schools: Dance, Music, Drama, and Art.
9. Luis Fred Kennedy/Caribbean Maritime University Scholarship
- For students enrolled in the BSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Caribbean Maritime University (CMU).
10. GraceKennedy Final Year Scholarship
- For students entering their final year at UWI or UTech.
11. GraceKennedy/JIEE Final Year Scholarship
- Also available to final-year students at UWI or UTech.

However, the following guidelines generally apply to most GraceKennedy scholarships, particularly the GraceKennedy/Jamaica Scholarship:
π Course of Study
- The recipient must pursue the approved course of study.
- No changes to the course are allowed without prior approval from the Donor.
- Unapproved changes may result in scholarship withdrawal.
π€ Community Service Hours
- Pre-Final Year: 40 hours annually.
- Final Year: Reduced to 30 hours.
π° Payment Structure (Final Year)
- 50% disbursed in Semester 1.
- The remaining 50% paid in Semester 2, only if:
- 30 service hours are completed by January 15.
- The student complies with all programme requirements.
π Annual Renewal
- Scholarship renewal depends on full compliance with:
- The GraceKennedy Foundationβs community service programme.
- All scholarship-specific rules and obligations.
π Campus Representation
- Recipients must act as GraceKennedy Group ambassadors on their campus during the award period.
π¦ Banking Requirements
- Recipients must open and maintain both:
- A First Global Bank account.
- A GK One account.
πΈ Media & Publicity Consent
- Scholarship holders grant permission for the Donor to:
- Use and publish photos, videos, and testimonials.
- Share materials via social media, print, television, and other platforms.
βοΈ Payment Terms & Adjustments
- The Donor determines payment instalments at the time of the award.
- Scholarship value and disbursement schedules may change if course adjustments are approved.

- The selection committee is composed of:
- 1 representative from the University of the West Indies.
- 2 representatives from the GraceKennedy Foundation (one serving as Chairperson).
