Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a dependent of a full-time, permanent employee of J. Wray & Nephew Limited.
Academic Requirements
For Secondary Students
- Must have achieved 75% or higher on PEP examinations or maintain a 75% Year Grade Average.
- Write a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
- “How do you contribute to your community, and why is it important to you?”
- “Explain the importance of education in your life and how this scholarship will help you achieve your educational goals.”
For Tertiary Students
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA / B+ Average or higher.
- Must participate in 72 volunteer hours per year.
- Write a 1,000-word essay on one of the following topics:
- “Discuss the ethical dilemmas that arise with the advancement of artificial intelligence. How should society address these challenges to ensure that AI technologies are developed and used responsibly?”
- “How do you define success in your own life, and how do you balance your personal values with societal expectations? Provide examples of how you have navigated this balance in your academic or personal experiences.”
- Submit one (1) reference letter from any of the following:
- Member of Parliament (MP)
- Justice of the Peace (JP)
- Church Leader
- School Principal
- Police Officer (rank above officer)
- Submit one (1) recommendation letter from an Academic Advisor or Professor (optional).
- Shortlisted students will be contacted for a panel interview.
