Systems Administrator (MIS/IT 4)

Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following position within the Information Communication Technology Division of the Police Department: Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, the System Administrator is responsible for implementing activities in such fields as provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure, and technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, and Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• • Two (2) years' related experience.

• Special Conditions Associated with the Job:

  • • Work will be conducted in an office outfitted with standard office equipment and specialized software.
  • • The environment is fast-paced with ongoing interactions with critical stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines, which will result in high degrees of pressure on occasion. May be required to travel locally and overseas to attend conferences, seminars, and meetings.
  • • Required to work on a shift system.
