Records Officer (PIDG/RIM 2)
Summary
Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Department and Chief Executive Officers are asked to invite applications from suitably qualified officers in their Ministries/Departments/Agencies to fill the vacant post of Records Officer (PIDG/RIM 2) (2 posts) in the Trelawny Parish Court. The incumbent provides clerical support by maintaining and retrieving records. 💰Basic Salary: $1,711,060 - $2,301,186 JMD per annum.
Responsibilities
- • Places files, warrants, receipts and applications in plaint number order, in designated batch for easy location;
- • Retrieves files, as requested, and replaces them on return;
- • Files and maintains completed Court Sheets in date order, and ensures ease of access;
- • Files all records in a systematic manner, as it relates to Court matters;
- • Files and tracks probate books;
- • Updates daily Big and Small Claim Index Books;
- • Labels and places Plaint and Minute Books in numerical order;
- • Maintains current master index of all disposed matters;
- • Provides general information/advice to the customers/clients;
- • Assists customer/client in completing their forms;
- • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- • Excellent knowledge of Government Records Management Regulations
- • Excellent oral and written communication skills
- • Good interpersonal relations and customer service skills
- • Ability to work in a team
- • Working knowledge of the relevant computer software applications
Qualifications
- • Graduated from a Secondary institution with four (4) subjects at the CXC or GCE ‘O’ Level, including English Language and a numeric subject, plus a minimum of three to four (3-4) years’ experience at the Level 1 or an equivalent academic training and experience.

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for monitoring the Agency’s data practices ensuring that all functions carried out by the Agency are in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act (2020). Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the DPO will be accountable for monitoring internal compliance and providing guidance to the Agency on data protection obligations. Additionally, the DPO will serve as a primary point of contact for supervisory authorities, such as Office of the Information Commissioner, and individuals whose data is processed by the Agency. 💰Salary: $4,266,270 JMD per annum

Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Operations (Level 9)

To oversee the operational areas of the Agency ensuring that they perform in accordance with the Framework Document between the entity and its portfolio Ministry. In so doing the Deputy CEO-Operations will maintain compliance with all legislation and regulations governing the Agency’s subject areas and ensure that international agreements and national policies relating to the Agency ‘s operations are upheld at all times. 💰Salary: $11,455,206 JMD per annum
