Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following position within the Information Communication Technology Division of the Police Department: Under the general direction of the Director, ICTO, the Technical and Client Support Manager manages a team and is responsible for ensuring the optimal maintenance of the JCF's ICT environment through the provision of superior technical support services and advice to users/clients across locations within the JCF. The Technical and Client Support Manager owns the incident, request, change, and escalation processes, ensuring accurate reporting, high performance, and service improvement.

Qualifications

  • β€’ Master's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, and Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • β€’ Four (4) years' related experience, with at least two (2) years in an ICT Client Support/Service Desk environment.
  • OR
  • β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, and Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • β€’ Six (6) years' related experience, with at least three (3) years in an ICT Client Support/Service Desk environment.

Additional Information and Instructions

  • Special Conditions Associated with the Job:

    • β€’ Work will be conducted in an office outfitted with standard office equipment and specialized software. The environment is fast-paced with ongoing interactions with critical stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines, which will result in high degrees of pressure on occasions. May be required to travel locally and overseas to attend conferences, seminars, and meetings.
