Cashier (Level 4) - Kingston
Summary
To serve customers and protect the revenues of the Agency by collecting funds, issuing receipts and preparing deposits đź’°Salary: $2,803,771 JMD per annum
Responsibilities
- • Operates the automated system of recording payments and issuing receipts
- • Collects payments in accordance with automated rate schedule; issue change as required, print receipts and issue to customers
- • Balances the day’s collections and prepare lodgements for review by senior officer
- • Greets customers courteously and offer correct change
- • Maintains an orderly work station
- • Prevents unauthorized access to cash register by maintaining custody of the keys/ authorization code
Required Skills
- • Sound knowledge of basic GOJ accounting principles and practices
- • Sound knowledge of relevant computer applications and systems
- • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Qualifications
- • Four (4) CXC passes at the General Proficiency level to include English Language and a numeric subject
- • Certificate in Cashiering
- • Two (2) years related work experience

Legal Officer - Executive Office - Kingston

Project Specialist (NIIP & Border Security) (Level 5) – Kingston

The incumbent will provide technical advice on the acquisition of security assets utilizing the relevant clauses within the Government of Jamaica Public Procurement Guidelines, best practices for security and border protection procurement, the cost-effectiveness of design, specification and methodology proposals, and terms of references for preventative maintenance of equipment’s. In addition, the Project Specialist (NIIP & Border Security) will conduct monitoring and evaluation activities during and after the implementation phase of the NIIP transition for Contactless Clearance. The Project Specialist (NIIP & Border Security) will also ensure that the scope of goods, works and services is completed in accordance with contract documents, agreed/established work, and value for money. 💰Salary: $5,198,035 JMD per annum.
