Reconciliation Officer
Summary
We are seeking to recruit a suitable qualified and experienced Reconciliation Officer at JN Bank Limited. The incumbent reconciles transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers together with the key accounts including bank accounts and he/she ensures that the assigned general ledger accounts are reconciled in a timely manner and that all the transactions with respect to the activities on these accounts are accurately and timely recorded.
Responsibilities
- • Prepare daily/monthly bank reconciliations
- • Prepare Work in Progress Schedules
- • Prepare Loan Proceed Schedules
- • Prepare Cash in Transit Audit Schedules
- • Prepare Audit Schedules for the relevant stakeholders
- • Respond promptly to requests for information from internal and external partners within agreed timelines
Required Skills
- • Highly flexible and organized
- • Excellent communication skills
- • Knowledge of the Group’s operations and core business systems
- • Strong sales and relationship management skills
- • Engaging and dynamic personality with superb customer service orientation
- • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
High level of proficiency in use of computer systems, particularly MS Office Suite:
- • Outlook Word & Excel
- • Professional, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
Qualifications
- • University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized Tertiary Institution
- • Budget Management and Accounting knowledge and experience
- • At least three (3) years’ working experience in a related field
