
Occupational Health & Safety Officer (GMG/SEG 1)
Summary
Applications are Invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following positions within the Medlcal Services Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Reporting to the Medical Director, Medical Services Branch, the Incumbent is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of occupational safety and health systems within the Branch, ensuring alignment with international standards. S/he will review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors.
Qualifications
- β’ BSc in Occupational Health and Safety.
- β’ Four years work experience in a similar capacity.
