Factory Supervisor

Summary

A Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective tasks, supervises maintenance staff, ensures compliance with safety regulations, manages inventory, and coordinates with external contractors.

Responsibilities

Ensure all provisions are met for a smooth workflow on the factory floor to include:

• • Requisition raw and packaging materials from inventory.
• • Coordinate shifts and arrange schedules and organize staff for production lines and activities.
• • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
• • Monitor production lines, inputs, finished products, line changeovers, defects, and product release.
• • Verify batch codes.
• • Monitor employee performance to ensure achievement of production targets.
• • Report non-conformances on production activities.
• • Ensure production meets health, safety, sanitation, quality, and food safety standards set by the company, food industry, and government agencies.
• • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree in Supervisory/Production Management or its equivalent.
• • Experience supervising in a food production/manufacturing environment for at least 2 years is preferred.
• • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• • Valid Food Handler's Permit & a Recent Police Record.
