Systems & Application Analyst
Summary
Digicel is seeking a System and Application Analyst to ensure the reliability, integrity, and operational excellence of systems related to Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management. The role involves providing technical expertise in implementing revenue assurance controls, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the organization’s revenue and cost protection objectives.
Responsibilities
Main objectives of the job:
- • To ensure reliability and integrity of systems and data related to the Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management Systems and other solutions by operating along stipulated guidelines and best practices and escalating to the necessary internal and vendor teams as necessary
- • Act as technical expert in implementing Revenue Assurance Controls per design requirements and specifications, ensuring that controls are robust and deployed based on agreed timelines to protect DIGICEL revenue and cost targets
- • Provide first-level administration and troubleshooting support of Business Risk systems and software
- • Ensure the timeliness and integrity of data ingested into Business Risks systems and proactively owning and resolving issues impacting same
- • Per guidance and support from the Development Manager implement the reconciliation and risk roadmap ensuring delivery of controls per agreed schedule for existing products and ahead of launch for new products
- • Adhere to Change Management process related to Business Risk systems and controls – ensuring prior approval is received prior to implementation and ensuring thorough pre and post implementation validation is done for all changes
- • Create and update documentation of Business Risk controls and solutions, detailing rational for approach and any non-standard implementation
- • Assess impact of network and system changes related to existing data sources/controls and ensuring that changes that impact same are analyzed and modifications made to mitigate any reconciliation issues or risk exposures
- • To support group investigations into revenue loss or fraud incidents, ensuring the required data is available to support same
Required Skills
- • Strong inter-personal skills
- • Essential skills and competencies include a high level of numeric, analytical and presentation skills, the ability to liaise at various levels within IT, Technical and Commercial areas
- • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database PL/SQL, Microsoft Azure
- • Experience in Requirements Analysis, System and Server Management
- • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of telecom systems and networks, understanding of BSS platforms, such as billing, order management, CRM, and AR a plus
Qualifications
- • BSc, BAA BA or equivalent education and/or experience
Over 1 years of experience in at least one relevant software programming and control language, such as:
- • Java/C++/ .NET /C#(C-Sharp) / Python / Shell Scripting
