The primary responsibility of the telesales agent is to drive revenue growth by making outbound calls to potential customers, effectively pitching products/services, and closing sales. Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance:

    • • Make outbound calls to potential leads and existing customers to generate sales.
    • • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
    • • Use persuasive selling techniques to convert prospects into paying customers.
  • Lead Management:

    • • Efficiently manage assigned leads, ensuring prompt follow-ups.
    • • Qualify leads and prioritize high-potential opportunities.
    • • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of calls, prospects, and conversions in the CRM.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • • Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and offer the most suitable solutions.
    • • Handle objections effectively to ensure successful deal closure.
    • • Provide excellent customer service during and after the sales process.
  • Process Compliance:

    • • Adhere to company policies and scripts while maintaining flexibility in communication.
    • • Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
    • • Follow up on pending deals to maximize conversion rates.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • • Participate in sales training and upskilling activities to improve selling techniques.
    • • Provide feedback to the sales team on market trends, customer preferences, and objections encountered.
    • • Contribute ideas to improve telesales strategies and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • • Proven experience in SMB telesales, outbound sales, or telecom sales.
  • • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
  • • Familiarity with telecom products and services (e.g., fiber optics, cloud solutions, VoIP, and mobile plans).
  • • Experience handling high call volumes and managing sales pipelines effectively.
  • • Knowledge of SMB market dynamics and typical communication infrastructure challenges.
