
Telesales Agent
Summary
The primary responsibility of the telesales agent is to drive revenue growth by making outbound calls to potential customers, effectively pitching products/services, and closing sales. The agent will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance:
- • Make outbound calls to potential leads and existing customers to generate sales.
- • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- • Use persuasive selling techniques to convert prospects into paying customers.
Lead Management:
- • Efficiently manage assigned leads, ensuring prompt follow-ups.
- • Qualify leads and prioritize high-potential opportunities.
- • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of calls, prospects, and conversions in the CRM.
Customer Engagement:
- • Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and offer the most suitable solutions.
- • Handle objections effectively to ensure successful deal closure.
- • Provide excellent customer service during and after the sales process.
Process Compliance:
- • Adhere to company policies and scripts while maintaining flexibility in communication.
- • Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- • Follow up on pending deals to maximize conversion rates.
Continuous Improvement:
- • Participate in sales training and upskilling activities to improve selling techniques.
- • Provide feedback to the sales team on market trends, customer preferences, and objections encountered.
- • Contribute ideas to improve telesales strategies and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- • Proven experience in SMB telesales, outbound sales, or telecom sales.
- • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
- • Familiarity with telecom products and services (e.g., fiber optics, cloud solutions, VoIP, and mobile plans).
- • Experience handling high call volumes and managing sales pipelines effectively.
- • Knowledge of SMB market dynamics and typical communication infrastructure challenges.
