
Art Director - Video
Summary
We are seeking a seasoned creative video leader to join the Deel Brand & Creative Team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of branded video content at Deel, and in support of key efforts like thought leadership campaigns, key product explainers, customer case studies, and Event storytelling. In this role, you will bring your vast knowledge in developing treatments, planning production, conducting live action and virtual shoots, and driving on post production deliverables. We are looking for an entrepreneurial creative who thrives on collaboration within a small team of video peers, and across functional groups; is a nimble and inventive problem solver; and is obsessed with delivering on quality creative that raises the bar.

Responsibilities
- • Develop clear and compelling concepts for video projects with crossfunctional stakeholders, and gain stakeholder buy-in and support
- • Define project plans and budgets for each project that will reliably deliver on timelines and expectations throughout production
- • Direct live and virtual productions to capture the most compelling content possible
- • Create and refine video edits to deliver on the most compelling and concise communications
- • Create and collaborate on Motion graphics as needed
- • Deliver the required video formats needed for our channel operators
Required Skills
- • Have a background in shooting video and/or as a video editor, but relish the behind-the-scenes role producing and packaging video content that captures and engages
- • Have strong technical skills, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite Video Editing software, AfterEffects, among others

- • The ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholder, as well as communicate status updates and pivots when they arise.
- • Have strong interpersonal skills – we work with a variety of partners across Marketing, Growth and Communications, and as such we need a strong collaborator who can turn healthy conflict into improved outcomes.
Patience and a sense of humor:
- • You know the drill…project needs can change on a moment’s notice, there are fire drills and deadlines, but you are calm, cool, and collected in times of change
- • Previous Video Production experience with an agency or within a creative department desired. Those with freelance or contract experience also considered with the right skill set
Qualifications
- • BFA in graphic design, advertising or similar
- • 3+ years of experience working in the advertising industry, preferably with both B2B and B2C clients
- • A portfolio demonstrating strong art direction skills (a variety of photography, video and animation)
- • Proven conceptual and storytelling skills
- • Proven graphic design skills (this is a hands-on role)
- • A bravery to push the creative boundaries
- • An enthusiastic self-starter who not only listens to the directions but who also proposes proactive ideas
- • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- • Experience in the Finance, HR, Payroll or other relevant B2B space.
- • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven creative optimization
