Summary

The incumbent is responsible for facilitating the development of live-art drawing skills in students who enroll in the visual arts programme through posing/sitting motionless for hours. (Full Time) 💰Basic Salary: $3,501,526 JMD per annum in the salary scale, payable monthly.

Responsibilities

• • To pose nude (male models may wear a jockstrap), semi-nude, fully clothed as a subject for students enrolled in the visual arts programme (live-art drawing).
• • Hold a given pose for one day (5 ½ hours), if necessary, with ten (10) minutes breaks as specified and according to the difficulty of the pose. The hours are subject to change as the needs arise.
• • Assist the administrative staff with miscellaneous duties during period of academic holidays.
• • Comply with instructions from lecturers assigned to the specific activity.
• • Participate in dance classes so as to maintain flexibility and fitness.
• • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Studies from time to time.

Qualifications

• • Must complete Secondary Education.
• • Excellent powers of concentration.
• • Ability to communicate effectively.
• • Must have a great deal of stamina to hold the same pose for several hours at a time.
• • Must be physically flexible.
• • Good interpersonal, human relations and communication skills.
