Psychologist (HPC/ALH 3)
Summary
Applications are Invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following positions within the Medlcal Services Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Under the general direction of the Director, Psychosocial Services of the MSB, the incumbent is responsible for police psychological health in the specified geographic policing area. S/He will be responsible for assessing, crafting and designing psychological programmes for assisting members and their immediate family in achieving optimal psychological health through appropriate interventions which are pre-emptive, relevant and forward thinking based on the nuances of law enforcement work.
Qualifications
- β’ Masters degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- β’ Additional training in a related discipline such as education or supervisory management.
- β’ Five (5) years' experience in an adult patient/client setting.
