Finance Officer
Summary
The incumbent will manage the preparation of the financial statements by ensuring the monthly reconciliation analysis for assigned companies Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet accounts are completed timely and accurately. The incumbent will also have oversight for the Cash Management portfolio and Compliance with Regulators. The position is based in Kingston. Our ideal candidate is an exceptionally detail oriented and organized individual, with a high level of confidentiality, honesty, integrity, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills
- • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- • High level of attention to detail
- • Ability to identify errors
- • Excellent time management skills
- • Strong data entry, written and verbal communication skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint etc.]
- • Knowledge of general insurance accounting would be an advantage
Qualifications
- • First Degree in Accounting or equivalent educational qualification
- • At least three (3) years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance Department
