Driver 1 (LMO/DR 1)
Summary
Under the direct supervisor of the Administrative Services Officer (GMG/SEG 1), the Driver 1 (LMO/DR 1) is responsible to carry out general transportation assignments, delvers and collects mails and prepares reports and maintenance records as it relates to the operation of the vehicle and ensures that it is road worthy. đź’°Salary range $22,720 - $30,556 per week.
Responsibilities
Key Outputs:
- • Vehicle operated and maintained
- • Reports prepared
- • Transports assignments carried out
- • Officers transported
- • Maintenance records updated
- • Mails collected and dispatched
Technical/Professional:
- • Operates vehicles and ensures it is properly maintained
- • Writes daily log of transportation duties assigned
- • Prepares reports as required from time to time
- • Transports officers to required destinations
- • Collects and delivers mails as directed
- • Transports goods and equipment as required
Other:
- • Performs any other related duties as directed by Director, Veterinary Services or Administrative Services Officer
Performance Standards:
- • Daily log written accurately and consistently
- • Transport assignments are carried out whenever required according to the required standards
- • Reports are accurately prepared and submitted within the agreed timeframe
- • Vehicles are serviced as required according to set guidelines and procedures
- • Mails collected and dispatched accurately within the specified timeframe
- • Officers are transported safely to their respective destinations whenever required

Qualifications
- • Completion of Secondary level education
- • Possession of a valid General Driver’s License
- • Required approval/Licence from Island Traffic Authority
- • Three (3) years experience in similar position
