
Maintenance Technician - Plumbing & Electrical
Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out schedule preventative maintenance task, preoperational checks and repairs not limiting to the area assigned in order to maintain a safe and efficient Plant.
Responsibilities
- • Perform a wide variety of maintenance-related repairs and services (refrigeration, electrical, mechanical)
- • Complete Daily Pre-operational checks.
- • Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
- • Monitor and maintain all Plant systems as assigned
- • Responsible for alerting Maintenance Supervisor on duty of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur
- • Ensure safety standards which comply with all company guidelines are adhered to
- • Ensure Continued SAFETY of one’s self, fellow employees, customers and Equipment.
Required Skills
- • Highly motivated and able to work independently
- • Knowledge of local workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation
- • Strong communication and problem solving skills
- • Excellent time management and project management skills
- • Strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- • At least 3 years’ experience in a related field
- • Post-secondary education and/or a Technical Trade Certificate/Diploma in the electrical, mechanical, welding or plumbing fields
