Site Service Team Leader
Summary
The Site Services and Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing site utilities, instrumentation, and electrical systems, while supporting sustainability initiatives and managing both internal teams and third-party contractors. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects and systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- • Lead and manage site utility operations by overseeing third-party contracts, supervising a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards, and maintaining accurate system updates and reports.
- • Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement through the assessment, calibration, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems, while supporting Capex projects and preventive maintenance initiatives.
- • Lead a team of 4–6 technicians and manage third-party utility contractors.
- • Support and execute sustainability projects in collaboration with the sustainability team.
- • Ensure maintenance and operational efficiency of instrumentation and electrical systems.
- • Manage and update sustainability platforms such as Sphera and Metron.
- • Be available on-call to respond to site service needs outside of regular hours.
Required Skills
- • Strong technical background in instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLC operations.
- • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and maintenance management systems.
- • Familiarity with steam and power generation operations and motor maintenance.
- • Project management training and experience with sustainability initiatives are desirable.
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- • Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
- • Financial acumen, including budgeting, variance analysis, and business drivers.
Qualifications
- • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
