
Talent Team Coordinator
Summary
Our EY Jamaica location is recruiting for a Talent Team Coordinator. The successful candidate will make use of technology, facilitate communication, and coordinate the administration of multiple HR/ Talent processes. The candidates will also deal directly with existing, potential and in some instances departed staff addressing concerns and inquiries and providing responses where necessary. Where appropriate, the chosen candidate will escalate any issues to senior member(s) of the Talent Team. The candidate will be expected to perform independently and should consult with a senior member of the Talent team when activities span outside the normal scope of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- • Work in conjunction with assigned/senior members of the Talent team to provide administrative support in the following main areas performance management, compensation, onboarding, orientation
- • Provide reports and gather data related to assigned HR projects and initiatives sharing information gathered with the Talent team or other functional groups as required
- • Provide daily operational support to existing members of the Talent Team as well as existing staff members– this would involve handling inquiries and/or sanctioning routine requests
- • Assist with managing personnel records of active staff members through the Firm’s standard database as well as hardcopy systems. Also manage the Firm’s archiving system for exit staff
- • Support the various functions of the Talent team- particularly during busy periods
- • Build rapport and manage the flow of communication between the Talent team and internal and external clients
- • Handle and stay abreast of any special projects that may arise within the Talent space or wider Firm
- • Maintain a good working knowledge of the policies, procedures and databases of a professional services firm
- • Assist with coordination and support of logistics for talent events and/ or processes
- • Assist with other ad hoc/ related duties
Required Skills

- • Excellent written and verbal communication
- • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite and Outlook
- • Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
- • Basic project management and organizational skills for example time management (especially when dealing with multiple client requests)
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Management Studies. 1 to 3 year’s relevant experience in a related field will be an asset
- • Proficiency with standard software and technologies including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Intranet and other related applications
