Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Officer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- β’ Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees at all levels, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- β’ Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
- β’ Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive activities.
- β’ Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring availability of trainers, resources, and training facilities.
- β’ Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
- β’ Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary improvements.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- β’ Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- β’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and priorities simultaneously.
- β’ Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems.
- β’ Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- β’ Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- β’ Possess an unquestionable character, high level of confidentiality, integrity and work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- β Bachelorβs degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field. (Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will also be considered.)
- β At least two (2) years proven experience as a Learning and Development Officer or a similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
