Summary
The Head of Private Wealth and Institutional Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the wealth management department, driving client acquisition, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional wealth management solutions. The incumbent will be tasked with developing and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction, grow assets under management (AUM), and achieve the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- • Provide effective leadership and guidance for the Wealth Management and Institutional teams.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with Institutional clients, acting as their primary point of contact and addressing their investment needs
- • Lead the establishment of and growth of GK Capital’s high net worth and Institutional client offerings.
- • Profitably grow the GK Capital’s investment portfolio by building and deepening relationships with clients.
- • Identify and onboard new Institutional clients, while growing assets under management and achieving revenue targets through tailored investment solutions
- • Provide informed investment advice by analyzing market trends and offering suitable financial products, including mutual funds, equities, fixed income, and other financial products
- • Cross sell the products and services of GK Capital and the wider GK affiliates.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- • Exceptional networking and general business development capabilities.
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- • Sound knowledge of applicable regulations respecting investment management and securities dealing.
- • Expertise in wealth management, allowing for accurate assessment of a client’s risk appetite and experience, and recommending optimal portfolio structure in view of market conditions.
- • Advanced technical analysis of fixed income and equity securities.
- • Sound strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding client and organizational expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- ★ Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
- ★ Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in private wealth management or related fields, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role.
- ★ Proven track record of client acquisition, AUM growth, and team leadership.
