Summary
The incumbent will be expected to develop and execute the business development strategy of the Customer Care Unit while offering service of exceptional quality to enhance the company’s image with a prudent risk management approach that utilizes our disciplined underwriting methods.. Our ideal candidate is a detail and team oriented individual with strong written and oral communication skills and analytical skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- • Supervisory Management training would be an asset
- • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
- • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and practices for a general insurance company
- • Strong customer relations and relationship building skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.
- • Excellent Public Relations and Presentation Skills
- • Skills in Sales Effectiveness
- • Customer Service Excellence
- • Excellent time management and the ability to plan, research, negotiate and meet deadlines
- • Experience with performance management and employee development
Preferred Qualifications
- ★ First degree in Business Management, or related field
- ★ Motor and Property Salesman
- ★ Three (3) years’ experience in a general insurance environment
