Summary
The primary objective of this role is to achieve the sales and revenue targets for the Digicel Business Solutions operation by driving customer acquisition, increasing revenue, and enhancing market share and positioning. A key focus is delivering a ‘Best in Class’ customer service experience consistently. The role also involves overseeing all activities within the Digicel Business Sales Department to ensure operational excellence and alignment with strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- • Delivery of the Digicel Business Solutions Sales revenue and cost budget
- • Provide leadership and build a strategy of over performance
- • Instruct, train, mentor and manage direct reports and other inside sales resources as assigned
- • Build effective relationships with both internal and external customers
- • Represent DBS in a positive and professional manner in the Business Community
- • Provide accurate forecasts, updates in a timely manner
- • Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company in the market
- • Identify areas of improvement in the Business sales department and assist in creating and implementing solutions
- • Create a high-performance sales and service culture
- • Adhere to all compliance and code of conduct policies
- • Use professional business judgment and be prepared to define plans, justify actions, and identify further opportunities for growth for the team
- • Contribute to the management’s team strategic planning for the organization
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills
- • Ability to build strong rapport and effective relations with corporates, government, customers/clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

- • Ability to work well under pressure
- • Telecoms experience
- • Strong problem solving skills
- • Knowledge of the Jamaica market place to effectively understand the changing market dynamics and translating them into actionable and practical strategies.
- • Excellent negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ★ Master’s degree in business management, marketing or a related discipline
- ★ Ten or more year’s leadership experience with proven track record in sales management with experience in Cloud infrastructure (cloud storage and computing).
- ★ General knowledge of the global marketplace to effectively understand the changing marketing dynamics and its impact on the local market.
- ★ Project Management Certification
- ★ Minimum 5 years senior leadership experience
- ★ Experienced in delivering organizational change across people, process and propositions
