
Quality Assurance Technician
Summary
The incumbent is responsible for collecting data and completing reports regarding QA activities which are used in ensuring that production output and process comply with applicable standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- • Perform random quality checks on various products and processes.
- • Perform pre-operational sanitation checks.
- • Perform random weight checks.
- • Perform temperature checks on products and processing rooms.
- • Analyze water sample using test kit.
- • Ensure that soap dispensers, sanitizers and foot baths are replenished.
- • Perform swab test on equipment.
- • Observes work practices to ensure compliance of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP and Good Personal Hygiene.
- • Effect corrective actions whenever there are deviations.
- • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve the needs and expectations of the company.
- • Conduct supplier and retail audits.
- • Coordinate and control documented information.
- • Ensure facility complies and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- • Prepare accurate daily reports on ALL checks made.
- • Conduct training to create and maintain a quality culture.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, Associate degree in agriculture or equivalent qualification.
- • At least 2 years of experience in quality control.
- • Training in ISO quality management systems, HACCP, SQF and GMP
- • An effective communicator with the ability to prepare and present data and reports.
- • Strong analytical skills
- • Microsoft Office
